This headline contains pre-decisional deliberative information

After a year of ignoring Freedom of Information Act requests, the Justice Department finally released KPMG's report on diversity in the agency. Citing a law that allows "pre-decisional deliberative information", the DOJ blacked out half of the report, including five of the six "the key findings of the study." As it turns out, however, a website publisher was able to remove the black bars, allowing the press to see the report unredacted.

Isn't the Post a bastion of the liberal media?

The Washington Post refused to run a week's worth of Boondocks because of a storyline about Condoleezza Rice's love life. The Post's editor Leonard Downie said that Aaron McGruder had "violated our standards for taste, fairness and invasion of privacy." The Post's ombudsman Michael Getler responded that McGruder was "being mischievous and irreverent, in their mind's view of the world, about a high-profile public figure, and that seems okay to me."
